About Us
Where Kids Play and Parents Relax!
We are Heidi Gill and Tiffani McCoy, best friends and co-founders of Slothy’s Playhouse. Our journey together began in 2015 when we met while working as preschool teachers. Tiffani, born and raised in South Florida, and Heidi, originally from Brooklyn, New York, who moved to South Florida in 2012, shared a passion for early childhood education and a love for children. As preschool teachers, we saw how much children love playing with toys and how much they learn through play. As mothers, we noticed a lack of local play spaces offering more than video games, trampolines, or ball pits. There were no places where parents could relax and socialize while keeping their children within sight, other than our homes. We dreamed of creating a place where parents could meet up, socialize, relax, read a book, or work on their computers without worrying about cleaning up toy messes. This dream led to the creation of Slothy’s Playhouse, a unique indoor playroom where children can play and socialize under the watchful eyes of their parents. Our friendly staff is always available to engage with the kids, ensuring a fun and enriching experience for everyone. Whether you need a change of scenery for your remote work or simply want a place to relax while your children play safely, Slothy’s Playhouse is here for you.
